Definitely weatherproof

This is a brilliant padlock. We use it for our allotment and saves a fortune in keys. And also we can change the code when we want to prevent unwanted people. Have been using one for over a year that is used constantly and dropped daily i think. It finally fell apart and we had to get another but it has lots of daily use and stood up to it well.

What’s not to like if you need a padlock and this is a padlock?

It’s a padlock. I needed one with a long shank. It has a long one. What’s not to like? It can be easily recoded and it works easily even with little arthritic hands like mine. Keep the little key for changing the codes and the instructions (though the instructions are downloadable from the Squire website).

Very good lock

Bought this lock to secure a coal bunker, and needed something that was A: Waterproof, and B: had a large shackle – this fit the bill on both counts and fits the bunker perfectly. I actually didn’t realise that it was a 5 cylinder lock when I bought it, but the extra dial just gives so many more possible combinations that I am confident it will not be opened by somebody randomly spinning the dials! Setting my own combination with the tool provided was relatively easy, I did have to check the instructions online though as the provided ones weren’t very clear, but once I had it figured out it was very easy to do and quick too. All in all a good purchase, and well worth the money.
