Mr. T. joyce –
Yes a brilliant staple gun easy to use & safe instructions are clear of good quality for my first electric staple gun it’s brilliant now I’ve moved to use a air system gun

So far I’ve only fired less than 100 Staples (140 series 14mm) and it has jammed twice. The 2nd jam nearly resulted in a return of this item.It will get some good use soon so time will tell if its up to the job.

I bought the Tacwise stapler after spending a lot of time trying to staple manually, or using another inferior stapler. I had a project to re-upholster a set of six dining room chairs. I used the Tacwise Heavy Duty 140 10mm staples for the job. These staples were longer than the ones I was digging out and replacing, however they did the job very nicely indeed. The previous electric stapler I had required a lot of pressure to be placed on the surface before a staple could be ejected, part of the safety mechanism, however, I found this to be a really hard thing to use, particularly single handed in awkward positions. This stapler however has the safety lock within the top button, to stop render the device safe when you are not using it – TIP: the trigger is sensitive and easily pressed, be sure to turn the safety on when you are not using it, a few times I shot staples across the room, luckily nobody around to hit! Be careful. Personally I much prefer how the Tacwise works, makes it easy to staple everything accurately with the minimum of fuss. The stapler very rarely jammed, it only jammed when I tried to staple on top of something extra hard, ie. screws, old staples etc, however, I found it quite easy to fix using a pair of pliers to pull out the jammed staple. Sometimes you have to keep pressing the button to slowly hit the jammed staple so that it shows a little more of the edge, to enable the pliers to get a grip.Overall a great product for the price. One pitfall was that the length of cable supplied is only 5ft / 1.5mt – so I had to use a light cable extension in order to freely move around my work. Even working at head height will require more length which adds weight and therefore fatigue when in use doing a lot of stapling.

The product is no frills serviceable, however did jam on numerous occasions, resulting a fair amount of fiddling to clear it.The safety lock was easily caught during operation so stopping the flow of stapling. There is no safety device on the action end of the product meaning that you can discharge a fixing without being in contact with the work piece. For the price it is OK for occasional use.If used as a more regular tool, a more robust product would be recommended.
Mr R J Bedward –
A good little product. Easy to load staples or tacks. Safety button is definitely useful to avoid unintended firing. Wish the lead supplied with it was longer as you need to use an extension lead quite often.
Mr. Lionel J. Keen –
Bought for stapling insect curtaining to door frame. Supplied with 6mm staples but proved long enough to go through the netting and Velcro strip.I am happy with its’ performance although only time will prove its’ value. It was to replace a Power Devil electric unit which sat in my cupboard for a couple of years before I pulled it out to do this job. It literally fell to bits – the internal screw threads fracturing and the casing bursting open.Despite being a do it yourself tool the Tacwise appears robust enough. Has a nice hook. The safety switch is set in the wrong position and is too easily moved – locking the machine. The on/off switch at the rear is well placed and there is a light when on.
