Great steamer

As with all items, treat with respect and it should last. Good value steamer. I had a steamer years ago which eventually broke and I tried the traditional boil water on the job steamer. That method usually results in over cooking. Using this steamer is gentler and you’re more likely to get good results. Even when I have over cooked the vegetables, they are still tasty and retain flavour. Very easy to use and the steaming pot is great of small veg like sweetcorn and rice. Easy to swill under the faucet, I don’t use dishwasher as I’m sure that will shorten the life of the plastic parts. Dishwasher usually shortens life of everything including metal pans. I’ve even steamed fish using this product. It’s a good versatile and flexible product that does what it says on the tin.

Brilliant,,,,efficiently and quickly cooks

I am recently eating a lot more veg and chopped up a whole bag of carrots a whole cauliflower, French beans and small new potatoes and the lot were perfectly cooked in 25min. What was great were the potatoes for years I’ve been boiling the and once boiled after two days the potatoes go soft or even absorb water, by steaming potatoes they stay firm, and keep the flavour without been watery.Yes the power cord could be a little longer but it was fine for me, this is one of my best buys in the last year. Great product

Great steamer

I bought this to replace a steamer that we had for years it’s great for making family dinners and is really easy to use it gets used quite a lot during the week would highly recommend it good size
