Strong performance for the price, with a few quirks
The Kalado Cordless Vacuum Cleaner KCV01 has been a pleasant surprise. It’s lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, making it ideal for quick daily cleaning without dragging out a heavy machine. The suction power is impressive for its size—crumbs, dust, and pet hair disappear quickly, even on low-pile carpets. I also like the self-standing design and the LED display that shows battery life and maintenance alerts, which makes it more user-friendly.The washable HEPA filter is a money-saver, and having a spare included is a nice touch. Battery life is decent for light to medium use, though it will drain faster on the highest setting. The only minor drawback is that the floor brush can feel a little loose when turning in tight spaces, but it hasn’t affected the actual cleaning performance. Overall, it’s a great value cordless vacuum for everyday use, especially if you want something lightweight, easy to store, and simple to maintain.

This vacuum changed my life.
I can’t say enough good things about this vacuum. I haven’t stopped singing its praises since I got it (to the amusement of my partner). I live in a one bed apartment that is mostly hard floor except for the bedroom which is very thick carpet and collects fluff and debris easily. My previous vacuum barely picked anything up and would spit things out — and that was on hard floor, so the carpet had no hope.This vacuum picks up everything. For months I’ve been living in squalor; walking over cat litter and crumbs, but no more. It even picks up the balls of fluff and hair that would normally stick to the carpet. What’s more, the LED light makes for a very precise clean even at night. The storage capacity is great; the cylinder doesn’t seem to fill up quickly at all. I reckon I could use it another 3 or 4 times in my small apartment before it getting full. It has three settings (the third like a turbo mode, I guess). The light-up interface is a really nice touch and shows what setting it’s on by displaying a set of bars on the screen. It’s not loud at all, I’d almost go as far as to call it a ‘pleasant’ whirring sound compared to my last one which sounded like a lawnmower. It’s extremely comfortable to hold; there is a user friendly trigger button which you don’t need to hold down for it to stay on, so you can grip it in whatever way is most comfortable. The cylinder has a button which when clicked opens the bottom so you can empty it straight into the bin. It has two different handheld attachments, including one with a brush which I really like to use on the bed/sofa. In terms of how long it stays charged for, I’m not entirely sure yet as I’ve only used it for one clean of the whole apartment (which takes no longer than 15-20 mins), and I’ve left it to charge overnight. To charge it you simply plug the handheld part into the wall. The stick part of the vacuum clicks upright meaning you can store it literally anywhere (it comes with a wall bracket too). I rarely leave reviews but this is one of the best things I’ve ever spent money on. I’m pretty sure my partner has the ick now, but so worth it.

Worth the risk on an unknown brand
Got this for £86 on Amazon Prime Day due to its amazing reviews and I’m so glad I took the gamble on a brand I’d never heard of. I like it more than our old Dyson that my ex kept when I left (hence why I bought a new one).Positives:- it stands up on its own- it’s so so easy to manoeuvre with minimal effort- the height-adjustable pipe- the battery removes to charge it anywhere- the light on the head illuminating where you’re vacuuming (I didn’t think I’d like this, but with hard floors and a cat, it’s really useful to show me that I do need to vacuum there, and then I can see that I’ve got all the fluff too)- the different suction speeds. I use medium for the hard floors and full power for carpet and it works great.- really easy to empty- you don’t need to keep your finger on the power button. One press and it stays on for a few minutes (press again to turn off)- I think it’s quieter than my previous Dyson.Negatives:- the handheld bit is heavy. I don’t notice this at all when vacuuming the floor, but if you removes the pipes and just use an attachment i.e. your hand is supporting all the weight while you carry it around, it’s weighty.I can vacuum my entire 1-bed flat several times before I need to charge it and it takes about 5 hours to charge from empty to full. Overall I love this vacuum and I actually enjoy using it! 10/10 recommend.

Exceeds expectations.
Ordered yesterday, received today.Within 3 hours have cleaned the entire 2 bed flat, everything sofa, curtains etc every nook and cranny. Constucting this incredible machine was a doddle. Whats to love? It charges quickly,very light to move around(my reason for buying it as my old upright is very good but is far too heavy), really efficient on shag pile rugs, carpets and hard floors,a doddle to empty. The bits and bobs included are a real bonus.Whoever invented the quick clean and release brush bar deserves a medal my dog is shedding like mad .I have very long hair and do a lot of crafts so theres usually a few bits of wool or thread lurking about. .I have never seen this type of brush bar before and the little cleaning tool for removing hair is just a real bonus.Included is an extra long sort of bottle brush for cleaning the tubes, so I no longer have to stand there ramming a bamboo cane down a blocked pipe. The dust cup holds far more than it looks like it does. I only half filled it today and the easy remove Hepa filter is a real bonus. Its quiet,usually when the old machine came out the dog hid and the Budgies went mental, this is quiet , so much so I used the hand held to clean around their cage stand and there was almost no freaking out. The height is adjustable which is a real boon when your’e short like me,It does have headlamps which is useful for under the bed where there always seems to be some random object that has no reason to be there. I know it’s early days but in all honesty I actually love this machine and for the price it’s a real must have. I can clean everything and everywhere without having to take a break to get my breath back(I have COPD) as this machine is so easy to use. After charging until the fully charged bars showed I started hoovering. At the end The bars still showed as full so that’s a bonus. Love all the little brushes and tools included and the little caddy that clips on to hold them.I hope me and this machine have very many happy years ahead of us. Really, for this price you cannot go wrong. One thing I would say though is read the instruction manual as to where all the different buttons are, I didn’t and couldn’t find the off button or the one which makes the hoover “lay down” for carpets etc,As its brand new I will soon learn whats what. Sat here now looking at my carpet and it really is pristine.The head looks as if it would be too small to cover a wide area but it does and goes right to the edges by the skirting boards.I couldn’t ever afford the “Jaws” of cordless hoover world as they run into £100’s but this model is perfect for my needs.
