My old kettle died. I went looking for a new one and saw this at a decent price. It really does heat up water faster than the previous one I owned. Yesterday, I decided to use the infuser for my tea. I loved it, but I think it may get tea stains—so I’ll stick to smiling as I just use it for boiling water.

I’ve been avoiding getting an electric kettle because I just didn’t see the point. I can heat water in a small pot on the stove just fine. But….. I have ADD and a bad habit of turning on the stove and forgetting about it until the pot boils dry. I finally decided to get an electric kettle and I love it! No more ruined pots and it heats really fast. It’s also very easy to clean. I just spray the inside with powerwash to dissolve the mineral buildup, wipe it out with a sponge and rinse. It does seem to keep the water hot for a while after it turns off, which is good, because when I do remember that I was making tea I don’t have to wait for it to heat up all over again.
