Been using for 16 months now still in perfect working condition. Constantly heats every few minutes until you turn the dial of. no automatic shut off when certain temperature reached you have to manually turn it off otherwise bottle will keep getting hotter. I descale it every week by pouring neat white vinegar into it for a few minutes (while switched off) then rinse with water
