   Great picture quality, even in less than ideal light, PTZ function is good, unit is quite large

   I’m going to be quite shameless and admit I have been enjoying using the Tenovo 4K PTZ camera for the last week or so, mainly for video ‘chat’ with a couple of friends in other countries, both were complimentary over the video quality they saw from me, in comparison to my usual (good quality) webcam.Let’s deal with the obvious (or not!) – this is not a tiny, fragile webcam, it is a failrly big lump of metal and plastic, and is provided with a seriously heavy duty wall mount. (and mounting hardware) as well as having a 1/4″ thread on the base for mounting on a tripod (I have mine on a heavy duty video tripod)This just a camera, no microphones built in, so consideration should be given to an audio solution if required.The camera was recognised in Windows 11 without any need to download drivers, and was instantly useable in OBS Studio (so probably any other video software) and as a video device in Discord. quality, even in poor light is very good, when supported by studio lighting is excellent, without needing very bright lighting to provide good colours and contrast in its video stream. The motors that drive the PTZ functions are virtually silent, being operated by the provided remote control (requires 2 AAA batteries, not supplied) or by gesture control. Tracking using the remote is good, but can be a bit quick if the buttons are held down, not a criticism, it just takes a little practise – the AI tracking is smooth as might be expected.This is a very wide angle camera, it is not rectilinear, so verticals at the edge of the frame do curve noticeably. I used the camera zoom function to not include virtually all of one side of my room in the picture, literally, at less than 3 feet from the wall the camera was capturing the 11 feet wide wall and parts around the corners!It has a Sony sensor (good move!) built in, which does provide good low light performance and good picture quality.With the caveat over its physical size, I am quite happy giving 5 stars, it is certainly a step above the average webcam.

   Incredible piece of tech!

   Wow this camera is literally out of this world! I didn’t really know what to expect unboxing this gadget and I guess I didn’t realise how far technology has gone in recent days. This camera has absolutely astonishing picture quality and can even track your head movement.. It’s a plug and play affair and no special drivers are needed. My only complaint is that it’s a bit bulky and takes up a lot of space on the desk. Also, the manual is very scarce and the supplied remote control supports other units, but fails to mention detail controls for this model. Despite this fact, it’s quite easy to work it out. Overall, a very impressive piece of kit!

   The Tenveo 4K PTZ Camera is overkill for casual users but a dream for professionals. The AI tracking, gesture controls, and 4K clarity set it apart from generic webcams. Auto-tracking kept me centered while pacing during a pitch. Clients said it looked “like a TED Talk.”

   High quality camera!

   The image quality is excellent sharp and detailed even in low light and the wide 124 degree angle captures the whole room with ease. The auto tracking and AI gesture control features are surprisingly responsive, making meetings feel more dynamic without needing to manually adjust the camera. Zoom, Teams and Skype all picked it up instantly with no fuss. The 5X digital zoom is decent, though obviously not as sharp as optical. Overall, it’s a great upgrade for any professional or home office setup
