My children bought me this for mothers day. Its very smart easy to use,sets its own time .Loved it so much my husband asked for one for fathers day so they match on our bedside cabinets. He plugged it in and it recieved the time via some kind of radio signal and then we noticed mine ran 2 minutes slower and neither have updated over a month. We havnt had chance to research this but if time accuracy is essential you need to check there may be a simple solution. Otherwise perfect.

I bought this clock without reading the reviews properly so was slightly worried after reading them. However I have to say I have had none of the problems described by the other reviewers and I am very happy with my clock radio (which sits next to my mobile on bedside table with no noise problems). Yes the buttons are small but I have had no problem using them as they are well spaced apart and easy to find even in the dark! In short it does what it says and works fine, I would buy it again if I needed to :)Oh and Co-op Electrical were great.They delivered it 2 days after I ordered by dpd couriers who emailed me with a 1hr trackable timeslot on the morning delivery was due (with the option to change or have delivered to neighbour if your not in).

Looks smart but, the button controls are small and difficult to use in the dark. The radio is very poor with regards to sound quality and tuning.

It works well, but buttons on the back make setting up a little fiddly. The sound is not quite as clear as I would like, it is a bit muffled. However the radio smells!! It smells like chlorine, and permeates the whole bedroom overnight.After 2 months, we have had to remove the radio from our bedroom. We could not recommend.

I only purchased this clock so that I can see the time during the night. It’s astonishing how many clocks don’t do that – only light up for seconds! I don’t need to use the radio or alarm, so I can’t comment on that but the clock is perfect for my needs, and looks good, taking up very little space on my nightstand. Of course, I won’t know if the automatic time change works until October, but here’s hoping. All in all, I’m very pleased indeed with this clock, and would recommend – it was recommended to me, by a friend.

Good product. I’ve had the same before and like it enough to buy again. One star off for a rather archaic antennae for radio receivership. Better options exist these days.

Good clock. I like the fact the snooze button is large but the off button is small. Can’t accidently turn alarm off. It has 3 light settings but wish the dimest one was more so as it is still quite light. Overall would recommend. Might be better to have a dark setting and a button that can light up screen.

Bought this to replace a 30 year old Sony Cube alarm/radio and the new model does not disappoint, although as a heavy sleeper I find the alarm a big gentle but the problem is solved by setting for fifteen minutes before I need to wake. Radio reception is good and the dimming feature on the display is very welcome. All round, good performance and great value for money.

A great design, easy to use. A little bright at night on dimmest setting. If the radio isn’t tuned in the radio alarm doesn’t work to it’s unreliable. The buzzer is more reliable. Overall happy with this alarm clock.

I decided to use an alarm clock instead of my phone so I don’t get glued to my phone 24 hrs… This works well, is light, and its minimalist design fits my home. Radio alarm feels like a more natural way for waking up than mechanical beep.One feature that I really want is gradual volume pick-up in the morning. No one likes to be suddenly exposed to loud volume in the morning…. 🙁

I like it! I had the earlier version of this for about 25 years (which was a little bit bigger and heavier) until it finally bit the dust, so I was pleased to see Sony had produced a newer version and with extra functions.Open the box, plug it in and it finds the right time for you. Display is bright orange and easy to read. The instructions to set the alarm and radio are easy to follow and understand too. As I am now a pensioner and not working I haven’t as yet had reason to use the alarm function but it appears to be working fine and true to sony standards the radio is remarkably clear for something so cheap. I have no need for the snooze timer or the variable brightness function but it has both if you need them. I will put it through its paces in the coming weeks but so far I’ve only had it 3 days before being asked to review it but so far I am more than happy with it.I have no hesitation in recommending this as it has everything you could possibly want from an alarm clock and more!!!!

The clock looks stylish with its black case and amber numbers. It is easy to set up as the time sets itself and changes automatically when the clocks go forward and back. Setting the alarm is also very easy. The radio signal is a bit hit and miss, but that is often the case with FM radio. The buzzer option works well as an alternative. On the whole I am happy with this product.

We have had Sony clock radios for years and it was time to renew them and we found this one to have better sound quality and the numbers are nice and bright. The only possible issue is that you need to make sure the CR2032 back up battery is working otherwise every time you loose power or turn the power off you will have to reset the time and date which can be ponderous.

Overall a pretty good buy for the price. Easy to set up and use. Negative points are that the setting switch for the radio stations is a bit old-fashioned and the reception not the best, though ok for general use. Beware that previous reviews were contradictory about whether the radio can be used with the battery alone. It can’t, needs to be plugged in to play, and the battery is just a back-up to ensure that the clock doesn’t need re-setting after a power failure.

In a “connected” world I am missing technology I can enjoy that is either not collecting my data or trying to suck me into spending more time with it that I planned. Good quality affordable devices not connected to the internet are hard to find. This radio-clock is an exception. Brilliant yet simple device that does exactly what I want. Radio sound quality is crystal clear too.

Let’s be honest, if you’re using your mobile phone as an alarm clock, you’re going to bed reading stuff on it and waking up to a head full of overnight notifications.What’s the solution? Leave the phone downstairs charging and get this bad boy into your life.It’s cool looking, excellent clear display (with 3 brightness settings) and has both a beepy alarm and also a FM radio.It’s fantastic value for money, built to last and sporting a timelessly classic design.Also, you can plug it into the mains or use battery. Super handy. Recommended.

I have already had one of these for over 20 years which is still working but radio is not so clear now so this is a replacement.The new one is slightly smaller and the radio is very good ,my only problem is I find it not so easy to do the settings and still havent set the right time but I am old and not very good with technology.
