I did a fair bit of research into the best cameras for home security and went with this due to it’s smart home capabilities and app functionality.This is a really great camera that is impressive in both daylight and complete darkness, as it has built in night vision.The most impressive function of this camera is the ability to set certain focus/target areas on the app- this means that I can receive an alert if there is movement from within this certain zone e.g if a door opens etc.I’ve only just got this set up, so when I get a chance I’ll include some images to demonstrate the fantastic clarity.

Very good quality, and with the memory card installed you can record a week of your home
I star from the only quality problem found: when the infrared light goes on and off in the evening and in the morning for some unknown reason the camera emits a sound, a “click”, this sound goes into the microphone of the same camera and it generates an “sound alarm”. So I get two sound alarms per each camera, one in the morning, one in the evening, because of this “click” when the infrared lights go on and off. I really cannot understand why and how this sound is generated, but it happens.All the rest works well, image quality is good, unlike the Nest camera, this one can have a internal memory card, so you do not need cloud storage and in 64Gig card you can record over 7 days of video

I bought a couple of these for my new house and not being a tech savvy person I was a bit apprehensive about getting them working but they were actually incredibly easy. Only took me about 15 minutes to get them set up and the next day I was able to watch my house from my place of work.I have a few friends who have just had babies and these would be absolutely perfect for a newborn. I am definitely going to recommend the camera to them.Highly recommended product
