Light, quiet, and perfect for hybrid workers
A week and I have been very impressed by this HP keyboard and mouse set. Up until buying this, I was using a 15-year-old Dell keyboard and wired mouse.It was relatively easy to set up, and I liked that nearly all the packaging was recyclable.The keyboard is quiet to use, and responsive to touch. No issues so far.The mouse does exactly what I would expect and feels substantial enough.The biggest benefit for me so far is that I have been taking it into the office, reminding me how much I hate working without a proper keyboard and mouse. Absolute game changerI haven’t used any of the programmable keys yet, I can’t think of anything fancy that I’d want to do to be honestI have had a cheap wireless mouse in the past, but always ended up going back to my Dell wired one. That won’t happen here, it sits comfortably and works as I would expect.The only thing I wish it did, was used Bluetooth rather than having to connect to the dongle. Laptops don’t have loads of USB slotsOverall, happy

Excellent feel and durable. Light and portable too
I have been using the keyboard and mouse set for a month now and I still feel happy typing on it just like the first time. I have a mechanical keyboard in my other computer and this HP keyboard feels as springy and satisfying, minus the click clack sound.The keys are low profile but pronounced enough for touch type. In height, they are slightly higher than my MacBook keyboard. And the numberic keys are very helpful as I work with numbers a lot (I can say the same for the well thought-out calculator hotkey).The mouse is basic with 3 buttons and no back and forward keys on the side. It’s a bit on the light side in weight so is very portable. I do prefer a bit of weight though, so I added in some mouse weights which help.In terms of battery life, I totally forgot that this set still runs on batteries. The consumption is so low that HP claims a 2 year lifetime. So I guess it’s best to use some good batteries so that they don’t leak.In summary, I think this is a very good keyboard and mouse set which does the job well and exceeds expectations for its price.

Great, robust keyboard

The keys have a really sturdy feel and it doesn’t make any unnecessary noise when doing lots of typing. The mouse is a nice ergonomic design so sits on the hand nicely, I’m a graphic designer so sometimes spend hours holding it and it doesn’t cause me any problems at all. Although slightly more expensive than some set ups I can honestly say that this is value for money. I would highly recommend this if you are undecided – I will be buying another for my wife.

With my previous plug-in keyboard and mouse, I found myself constantly untangling wires and struggling to pack everything up when I needed to take my laptop into the office.But with this combo set, all those problems have disappeared. The fact that it only uses one USB port means that I still have plenty of room on my laptop for other devices. And the setup process was a breeze – just pop in the batteries and you’re good to go. It’s so easy to use and the lightweight design makes it even better.I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate the convenience of being able to quickly and easily pack up my workstation now. It used to take me a good 10 minutes to gather all the wires and pack everything away, but now it only takes a minute or two.
