   HoMedics reliability, relaxing massage

   Over the years I have used several different types of HoMedics massage equipment, and they have all been reliably effective. This one is too. It comes in a box with a clear instruction booklet and a USB – USB-C lead for charging, and the internal packing is all non-plastic; definitely a plus point for those like me trying to minimise opur plastics!The cushion has an elastic strap so you can attach it to a chair back. Unfortunately the elastic is not adjustable, and my office chair has a large, thick back. I managed to get it on, but the elastic is fully stretched and I’m a bit concerned that it may be under too much strain. It would be better if there was some adjustment available – suggestion for an upgrade, perhaps? It took a bit of adjusting and readjusting to get the cushion to the right height for me, but once I didI could sit back, reach up to the control tag and switch the cushion on. Most people who, like me, do a lot of computer work will be familiar with the knotted muscles at the base of your neck/top of the shoulders; and that is where this cusion was working. The massage was firm but not painful, and because I was leaning against the cushion, it was simple to control the depth of pressure. A few minutes and I felt very relaxed, the knots had been eased, and I could start work again relaxed and refreshed. As long as you have a high-backed chair, it should work. I great massage cusion, and one I know will get a lot of use. Recommended!

   Great little massager

   Well made vs some other lesser known brands here on Amazon which have failed me. Works well with speed control and controlled heating. Great job. Pity they’ve stopped the car adapter but that’s about it.

   Feels great!

   The first thing that impressed me about this massager is that it’s cordless. I can’t believe these things are cordless now! The last ones we had were all mains powered so I was initially concerned when I found that there was no mains cable attached to it when I took it out of the box. Once I realised it was cordless I was initially sceptical about runtime, but I needn’t have been. It runs for ages on a charge. It shuts off after 15 minutes of use (for safety, apparently) but you can start it again just by pressing the button. There is a slight amount of heat from the massager, but it doesn’t get particularly warm. The physical massage it delivers though is quite strong and I enjoyed using it once I managed to get the thing positioned correctly on my chair. Overall it’s a very nice quality item as should be expected from the HoMedics brand and it works exactly as it should.

   Das HoMedics Shiatsu-Massagekissen ist eine echte Wohltat! Die tiefenwirksame Massage mit den vier rotierenden Köpfen löst Verspannungen spürbar und sorgt für eine angenehme Entspannung – perfekt für Nacken, Schultern und Rücken. Besonders toll finde ich die Wärmefunktion, die zusätzlich für eine angenehme Durchblutung und Entspannung sorgt.Ein riesiger Pluspunkt ist die Akku-Funktion, da man nicht an eine Steckdose gebunden ist und das Massagekissen überall nutzen kann – ob auf der Couch, im Bett oder sogar unterwegs. Die Bedienung ist einfach, und die zwei Massage-Richtungen sorgen für eine angenehme Abwechslung. Wer ein kompaktes, aber kraftvolles Massagegerät sucht, wird hier definitiv fündig.

   Brilliant for achey bones

   This was very gratefully received and was a massive help straight out of the box. It’s a curious looking hard pillow with two whizzy whirly bits that go round and round basically.There’s enough in this power packed pillow to keep the pressure on and if you lean against it, the mechanical massagey bits really easy any tension in your back. There’s the added joy that you can have a bit of heat on the affected area too. If you lean against it, you get a deep, powerful massage which gets right to the root of the problem.It simply plugs in and charges up to keep it in tip top operation. It didn’t take long at all and was ready to go again. All the family were fairly intrigued by this but all appreciative of its powerful punch as a massage cushion.I’d really recommend this…cheaper than the chiropractor! 10/10
