   Homedics have nailed it with this deep shiatsu massager.

   Homedics is a familiar brand that specialises in effective home muscle relaxation massage devices. This full-back shiatsu massage chair is exactly that and as you would expect from a quality brand with plenty of know-how, it’s very good.It’s very straightforward to get up and running and fits most chairs though I wouldn’t use with a gaming chair as the wings/side support of the chair prevents the correct placement of the massager. It can be used on flat-backed desk/dining/lounge chairs without issue.The settings are just as straightforward using the built in wired remote and the massage functions are easy to navigate. It’s great for my lower back and sciatica as I have damaged lower discs and suffer from excessive compression when sat my desk which becomes quite painful over time. The massage is deep and gets right into the tissue without discomfort and provides a pleasant, soothing experience that is as close to a real massage as I have found in a shiatsu device. Great stuff!In summary, Homedics know their stuff and have produced a great product that I’m more than happy to recommend as it genuinely hits the spot.Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.All the best

   Love it

   I wasn’t expecting anything as good as this. The seat is well made and fits multiple chairs around our house. I have it on my office chair. It has a strong elastic strap on the back with velcro so it can be adjusted to the right height for your back. The massage balls in the back of the seat are very firm and the massage, which works its way from the bottom of the spine to the base of the shoulder blades, is very firm and relaxing. The chair is well packaged and very easy to set up. The controls are simple to operate for a full, upper or lower back massage and there are additional options for a vibrating seat, which has 3 speed settings. It even has a heated seat option. The chair is very well designed and of very good quality. It lives up to its claims. I have slept better as a result of using this device. An excellent product.

   Firm massage, easy to use, multiple settings.

   This unit gives a strong upper and lower back massage, it runs on mains power with supplied adaptor, it has a nice connected controller that’s easy to use with multiple settings for upper or lower back with heat and vibration settings, it’s well made and works very well, it’s makes just a low humming sound when working, very pleased with it and would highly recommend it.

   A few ‘ooh’ moments

   This chair massager is good to go and use out of the box. It slipped over my desk chair very easily, although I did find that the base was quite a bit longer than my chair, so it did over-hang a little.It is comfy to sit on, but when the massage balls are not in motion, they can press in over time.There’s a long cable for the plug, so no worries about losing movement if this is used on a swivel chair.Setting wise, the base has 3 vibration levels – but I didn’t really use these. You can choose between upper, lower or full massage, and there is also an option add heat to the massage. I confess I didn’t notice anything with the heat setting. Massage wise, it was good! With quite a few ‘oooh’ moments as it hit some tense muscles I had from DIYing. Downsides – I’m quite bony, and you do get quite a jolt if one of the massage balls hits a less padded body part.Overall, as a massager its good quality, the massage is worthwhile!
