It takes a little getting used to, but I like it so much better

I would definitely recommend giving it a week or two before passing judgment on this mouse. I absolutely love it! Three buttons for the three main fingers makes more sense than a two-button mouse. The top and bottom thumb accessible buttons are much better than the front to back motion on a standard mouse thumb button. I definitely have less of the thumb and wrist pinch associated with carpal tunnel, I don’t know if it’s a temporary relief or more long-term. But for now, I will take it.for gaming, programming the buttons is a little obtuse. There seems to be some strange reliance on num lock. For future iterations of the mouse I would like to see the scroll wheel positioned a little further below the middle finger. Other than that it’s awesome.

The best mouse

I owned a vertical mouse from Evoluent (4 model), and it finally broke after 6 years. So I went to get another one. This one is very similar to that model. Maybe a little smaller. Super great egronomic mouse. I won’t be without these mouses for work, they have helped my carpal tunnel so much. Not sure why everyone wouldn’t use an ergo mouse!Only annoying thing with this mouse is that the scroll wheel is a little clicky. You’re scrolling it and it’s like clickclickclick. Very loud. This model is worse than the 4 model in that way. It doesn’t bother me tho.

Third one I have purchased

I bought one of these when they first came out eons ago. First was like a revelation. My carpal tunnel reduced including the pain in my shoulder and arm. But the shell became eroded and rubbery and I didn’t want to touch it anymore as it was sticky. Second one was the smaller one, as I am female. Better shell. That worked for about 10+ years and then just died. This third one is like the second one. Small, same, and more, button choices, better ergonomic design with little finger rest ( I didn’t know I needed that but I do now,) The shell is now almost completely hard, shiny plastic and a bit of that rubbery stuff is there, but you don’t touch it. Highly recommended. I only have purchased the WIRED one. Instant reaction with movement. Wireless takes that extra 1/2 second to kick in. totally annoying.
