I have given this Braun FaceSpa a fair trial over several weeks. It is a nicely designed product that is easy to assemble for its differing uses. I like the cleansing and vitalising brushes which are good to use with either water or cleansing lotion. The skin feels really cleansed after use. I am not so thrilled with the epilator as it is quite painful to use and seems to avoid longer hairs. I have already reverted to using tweezers!The illuminated magnifying mirror is really good and a great addition to my cosmetics drawer. The whole kit comes with a useful zipped pouch into which all the bits and pieces easily fit.A pity that it is operated by batteries – would have preferred a recharchable system.

I have to say it’s really good the bag it comes in with the extra accessories especially the light up mirror and the brush to clean the blade is brilliant the only disappointing thing was it’s battery operated and runs out very quick and it’s quite tricky to open the bottom you have to use a coin to click it out to put batteries in I gave it 5 for everything because it worked amazing it rips the hairs right out and it really hurts but over time the pain isn’t as bad

First off I love that this comes in his own handy bag to keep it in. Often with these things you do not have that and i find after time boxes break down. I was a little worried it would be very painful but in general it was fine. Also comes with a hand mirror which lights up so you can use it whenever you need to. Did find it worked on slightly longer hair better than very short but that could just be me, The hair was slower to grow bag but because this is so handy it was fine. All in all good value and good results

Very easy to use and effective. Used for the first time and did exactly what I needed it for. I still had to use tweezers to get a couple of stubborn hairs but I’d expect that. Good buy. Would recommend.Fast delivery. Nicely presented in a little bag. Good to take on holidays. Battery operated. Size of a small make up kit.

I love this gadget and I’ve had it 3 months. I used to get my face threaded regularly living in the Middle East, but it is just too expensive to have it done over here in my small town in the UK. (£15 for neck and chin). The first month I looked like a teenager with rampant acne as I cleared the forest but daily application of germolene kept it down, and for the past couple of months I’ve had a lovely clear, smooth neck.I’ve never used the brushes and things in this kit though so can’t comment on those. Just interested in the face ripping.I do use it almost daily and the batteries (1xAA) don’t last too long so I use rechargeables now.Edit 2022 – Been meaning to edit this review for some time now. I have had this gadget now for 4 years and I have to say that after 2 years it stopped being that good even with fresh, non-rechargeable batteries. Could be that my chin hair got tougher. A bit disappointing as I expect a thing like this to perform well for about 5 years.

Neat little battery powered tool for facial epilating; I used it to tidy eyebrows (despite warnigns not to use below the brow line I took the risk) and Ive been pleased with the quick results. I’m very used to this type of tool though, so give yourself time and practice before using and obvioulsy dont follow my practice but obey the instruction book! Ive also used it on awkward hairs on my neck; far easier than using tweezers when you cant actually see what youre doing and have to go by feel. As we age, stray hairs pop up from time to time and its nice to have a discreet and effective way of removing them.The mirror isnt really magnifying enough for me at m y age, but it has a nifty light and is smooth and neat so will make a good addition to t he kit. You can remove the epialtor head and replace with a silicone bristle massage brush; this does give a good workout tothe skin. The other brush is a soft bristle one which I used with a foaming facial cleanser; very thorough and a pleasant feeling. A degree of exfoliation leaves a smooth and even finish .All the parts are stores in an attractive zip case to keep them all together in your bag. I will be adding this to my everyday beauty carry as it combines several uses in one and is light and easy to use.
