Large volume and heats up quickly

This is a nice kettle. I love the look of it, and the fact that it has a heavy duty electrical cord. It feels sturdy when you pick it up but it’s still pretty lightweight.In comparison to my last electric kettle, it holds a larger volume of water and warms up even more quickly. The on/off switch in back lights up red when it’s on, then switches off when it is boiling. The outside does get quite warm to the touch when it’s boiling, as did the old one.It is labeled as ETL listed and conforms to UL standard.
