I don’t and wouldn’t by a more expensive temperature spike as this ticks all the boxes, the app and connectivity/range is good the magnetic case is great for sticking to the bbq / extraction hood the temperature matches my thermometer to within a few degrees, really easy to use and takes all the guess work out of cooking, have used this loads of times on the bbq and the oven in chickens, beef joints and even the Christmas turkey, in my opinion a great quality and reasonably priced temperature probe

It’s great to be able to wander away from the kitchen with the app running. and still know how you food is progressing. It also allows you to track the temperature after removing from the oven ( Christmas turkey will increase by as much a 5° over half an hour if covered with foil and a tea towel and remains succulent and moist)

he probe and app are very easy to setup and pair. The built in options for food are great, and it’s great being able to add your own with temps that can be reused. This so far has allowed me to make steaks on the BBQ to perfectly medium rare, and make sure chicken drumsticks are cooked just right on the BBQ (avoid overcooking “just to be safe”). And a perfect roast chicken in the oven.
