I have fitted this in my campervan.I recently fitted a Chinese diesel heater in the van so wanted something to check CO levels and warn of any smoke in case anything overheats etc.I park my van on the other side of the street from my house but this still connects to my home WiFi. When we go away I will connect it to a 4G router.

Just the job
This is cracking example of a basic smoke/Co2 alarm. Very pleased with look and feel of it. Simple to install. Will write more in ten years to appraise the battery life!

This product is amazingNot only does it alert you of problem it enables you to read how high co2 is.Sister had to call out gas inspector due to CO2 leak turned out to be faulty cooker.CO2 leaks are life threatening and can cause serious long term health problems or can be fatal within short space of time had it not been for her alarm who knows what would have happenedSeriously is it worth taking the risk of not having an alarm and this one does double the work acting as a smoke detector too. Gas inspector was impressedI bought myself one when I saw my sisters

The media could not be loaded.
When purchased last year it was to replace my old hard wired alarm system, which had run its life time. Easy to install, and I have to say when it came down to it, worked as expected.The alarm went off on time and allowed me to get my family out before my house was engulfed and gutted. If it had been delayed by a couple of min, I wouldn’t be here writing this. As told by LFB investigative officer “a couple more min and it would have been a very sad ending”.

Looks like its built to last
Bought this after we had a carbon monoxide leak and our trusty old alarm went off. BUT we didn’t know how bad the leak was – this unit has a digital display which would have been handy at the time. I like the fact its dual purpose – fire and carbon monoxide. Be careful where you put it, as the digital display is small….for this reason I have mounted it where I can eyeball it. It doesn’t mean you cant put it on a ceiling or higher up as you can overcome this by taking a picture on your phone and enlarging…… 99.9% of the time you wont have to look at it but after having a leak Im now obsessed – meerkat peering at every opportunity.Nice looking and quality feel unit – plus 10year battery is a bonus……ask me in 10 years if the last part is true :)Once switched on you cant switch off – so the battery life starts ticking the moment you click the mount into place.After having a leak and reading up, this type of kit is a must in any home.
