I was afraid I might be making a mistake by going with the less expensive machine but I’m very happy with it. So far, I’ve used it to bind 18 books of close to 200 pages and it has done beautifully. I’ve not had any of the problems mentioned in the negative reviews. My only complaint would be that it was not clear how to put the combs on the machine. By trial and error, I discovered that there are 4 tiny hooks behind the teeth and the comb needs to sit in front of those hooks. It’s easy if you just pull the comb towards you when putting it on the machine. Overall, I consider this purchase money well spent.

Teacher here- I am in love with this thing. IF I could run away with it I would. For the price, there is no better tool to bind books! I borrowed someone’s one day and had to order my own after that. It’s super easy to use. Only fault- it’s impossible to ensure you have the pages inserted all the way in to the hole punch and sometimes the holes are on the very edge of the paper. This generally only happens when you try to fit several pages (still less than 15, but more that 8)Overall, awesome product for what I paid. You should buy it too!

I teach my students and my 3-year-old at home, I also make all kinds of booklets and planners for them and myself. I used to staple everything of course, but I began to want a more professional look, this little machine did the trick. It binds perfectly. I had to play around with it a bit during my first project to get used to it and by the third project I was a pro. I’d suggest also buying a kit that comes with covers and assorted ring sizes.
