This is totally a Bluetooth mouse with a single battery and works extremely well, I have had previous HP Bluetooth mice but they always need a USB dongle and 2 AA batteries

Always liked this style of mouse and wireless as well. Had a previous version however it had a USB plug. This one is totally wireless and much easier. Also saves a valuable USB port as latest laptops often only have one.

Love this mouse, easily connects via bluetooth a nd is very accurate.The buttons are a little sensitive so watch out! So easy to right click at the same time as left clicking.Other than that, a quality product from HP
