    Useful Massage Cushion

I found using this massage cushion really handy, especially compared to using a whole seat. With a seat, sometimes it’s quite difficult to get the massaging effect where you really need it at that time, but with this cushion it’s a lot easier to isolate where you feel you need the massage and I like that. The actual massager itself is okay, the motion/action isn’t the best, but it is quite comfortable and feels well enough made. Overall this is a handy little appliance that will get used plenty.

    Effective

We have been testing this out for a few days now and everyone of us has had a go from the 2 year old to the nearly 50 year old. It is fairly easy to use and to place where you want to feel the benefit. It recommends a maximum of 15 minutes. The massage balls rotate and the direction can be changed. You can also add a little bit of heat. There is a strap to tie it to you but if you have it at your back for example while sat against the back of the chair you don’t really need the strap. It definitely seems effective at relaxing some tight muscles.

Really good – firm and portable

This is a pretty decent device. The first thing of note is the manufacturing quality – It is really well made and looks like a quality product and feels like a quality product. The best thing about it is the wireless charging – being able to plug it in and using it wherever or whenever is a real bonus. I have various aches and pains that really benefit from deep tissue massage, so have previously purchased a massage chair, a massage wand and an office chair massage mat – but none of them really hit the mark. This gives a good and deep massage, my only slight grumble is that you soon get used the the circular pattern – if it was randomised then it would be perfect. As it is it is pretty good and the best massager I have used so far.

    Very good massager

I think this is a good massager. I agree with the other reviewer in pointing out that it’s a bit of a stretch to call it a shiatsu massager but for a device it is pretty impressive.I like it especially for the lower back and have used it very successfully this way when seated. I have found trying to sue it on the shoulder is less easy and perhaps I need to experiment a bit more with that but using the strap feels a bit clumsy. The use of heat is very soothing and overall I noticed an appreciable effect after using this daily and will continue.I like the way that charging it up is straightforward and tha the massage itself is cordless.

    The Jury is out

Just starting my review as I think to properly assess this product you need to use it over a long period to determine whether you are gaining any benefit. One thing I would say from the start is that Shiatsu Massage is very different to what is portrayed and I speak with some knowledge being married to Shiatsu practitioner who took many years to obtain her accreditation; basically there is a lot, lot more to shiatsu than this. It is on this basis that I am writing my review based up-on a massage machine which has very little connection to the art of Shiatsu, other than name.So what do you get? Mainly a massage device, which can be strapped to your body, a charger and a set of very basic instructions – think portable massage chair, which you often see in motorway services or similar. Whilst I am portraying a somewhat negative view of this item, may I say that it does appear to be well made, it is adjustable in terms of speed, direction of massage and position of the massaging “nodules”. I particularly like the fact that the massage nodules can be heated or not depending on preference.Does it work? Well yes it does and it will work for up to three hours in 15 minutes sessions i.e. 12 session between charges. I am currently using it on my lower back whilst writing this review; broken vertebrae and years of running have resulted in me experiencing regular lower back pain and sciatica – so far, I am not experiencing any alleviation in the recurrence of symptoms, but I do find the massage pleasant and I assume it is not doing me any harm. I have also used it on my legs after attending a regular spinning class and I find that the gentle movement does relax the tension in my calf muscles somewhat and is a nice way to alleviate aches and pains associated with heavy exercise. The other area for use is the neck and once again I have experienced damage there too (I have had a very adventurous life with many injuries). So I am using this device to improve my quality of life to help with symptoms arising out of injury and exercise. So it does work in terms of a pleasant experience, whether it helps to improve the condition in my back and neck though is open to debate – I assume that many people will consider this item based upon addressing a condition arising out of injury or simply wear and tear – in summary it is pleasant to use, but I am not confident that it will alleviate the discomfort arising out of many conditions, but it does work well in helping dissipate lactic acid and exercise by-products from my legs.I have reviewed this item after two weeks of daily use and will review it again when I have used it more. My wife has also used it and agrees with my review, massage it certainly is, Shiatsu it certainly isn’t!

I like it a lot. Wireless and long lasting

My dad got a massage cushion thing (as I like to call these) a few years ago. I love it. Every time I go to my parents’ house I give it a go. The world has moved on a little bit since then, so these cushion things are now wireless. And that is great. You don’t need to be near a plug. The battery lasts 2 hours minimum, and you can also use it while it’s charging. So that is good. What is also good is that you can adjust the distance between the massaging things – that’s a really nice touch. You can also change their direction and have it with or without heat. The only downside is that it’s very hard. It’s too firm for my wife, and at times it’s a bit much for me, too. Now, obviously, you can decide how hard you lean into it, but it’s definitely on the firm side. But that’s a fairly minor issue for me. Overall, this is extremely good.

WORKED VERY WELL TO EASE BACK PROBLEMS – HIGHLY RECOMENDED

I was very unsure if this cordless massage unit would be suitable for the problems I have been experiencing with my lower back. At first it took a little while to get the correct positioning of the pads on the unit, but once that was overcome it worked extremely well. After several uses I did notice a remarkable change in the pain I had in my lower back and I am sure that with regular use it will continue to improve.Overall, very pleased with this massage unit and I would highly recommend it.

Impressive piece of kit for the size

I have always been a bit nervous of the idea of having a massage. It makes me feel a bit odd. But I was feeling brave and decided to give this a try… Actually, it was nothing to be scared of and after a few minutes I even started to enjoy it. It’s probably even changed my opinion on massage as a pointless activity as I felt a lot freer in my lower back and over a few days my aches and pains in that area have decreased. The rest of the family have been similarly impressed. If you are skeptical of massage it is definitely worth a try!
